Velocity Funds is a futures-focused prop evaluation firm. We give traders access to simulated evaluation accounts with clearly defined risk. Pass the evaluation and you can qualify for a Velocity Funded account with real payout opportunities based on your performance inside our framework.

Velocity Starter is your evaluation stage. You trade a simulated account with a profit target, maximum trailing loss, and (where applicable) maximum daily loss. Hit the target without breaking the rules and you pass.

Velocity Funded is the next step. Once approved, you trade within our funded framework and can request payouts on a weekly reward cycle, subject to our risk parameters and dynamic reward caps.

Anyone who is at least 18 years old, understands the risks of trading, and can legally participate from their jurisdiction may apply. We currently focus on futures traders connected via Rithmic-compatible platforms.

The evaluation is a single stage. You choose an account size, trade in a simulated environment, and must:

• Reach the profit target for your account size.
• Respect the maximum End-of-Day trailing loss.
• Respect any applicable maximum daily loss.
• Trade for the minimum number of trading days (you can pass in as little as 3 days).

There is no rush to “gamble” your way through. The evaluation is designed to surface disciplined, risk-aware trading — not one lucky spike.

During the evaluation, your main constraints are the profit target, trailing loss, and maximum daily loss where applicable. We keep the rules transparent and visible inside your plan.

Once you are sim-funded, we honor our Velocity Pledge: no surprise DLL or “gotcha” consistency rules layered on top of what you already agreed to. Your job is to trade with discipline inside a clear, pre-defined risk box.

All account-specific rules — including profit targets, trailing loss levels, contract limits, and reward caps — are listed on our Rules page. Make sure you review those details carefully before starting an evaluation.

The End-of-Day (EOD) trailing loss is a dynamic risk limit that moves up as you grow the account. If your balance increases, your trailing limit ratchets higher according to the parameters on the Rules page.

If your equity falls to or below that trailing limit, you have violated the risk rules for that account and the evaluation or funded account may be closed.

Hitting your maximum daily loss or trailing loss is considered a rule violation. In most cases, that means:

• Your evaluation may fail and be closed.
• Any pending progress toward the profit target is reset.
• You may need to purchase a new evaluation to continue.

Always size your trades so that one bad day doesn't push you into a rule violation. The goal is sustainable, professional risk — not all-or-nothing swings.

Once you are in a Velocity Funded account and meet the eligibility criteria, you can request payouts on a recurring reward cycle (typically every 5 trading days). Payouts are subject to:

• Staying above your minimum balance and trailing loss threshold.
• Respecting any applicable reward caps for your account size.
• Our general Terms & Conditions.

Our structure is designed to reward disciplined trading with high payout splits while keeping risk contained on our side of the book.

The dynamic reward cap is a payout ceiling that scales with:

• Your account size (e.g., $25K, $50K, $100K).
• Your payout cycle (first, second, third, and fourth+ rewards).

Larger accounts and later payout cycles generally unlock higher caps, while smaller or earlier accounts are capped more conservatively.

For example, $25K accounts are typically capped at $1,000 per payout cycle. Some plans (such as specific $50K Starter configurations) may offer a flat $1,000 cap option in exchange for reduced pricing, which you can see in the pricing toggle on the home page. We currently connect through Rithmic as our execution backbone. Any front-end platform that supports Rithmic connectivity may be compatible. Supported platforms can change over time, so please check your evaluation welcome email or reach out to support if you're unsure about a specific platform.

All Velocity Starter and Velocity Funded accounts are simulated accounts used for evaluation and analytical purposes. Performance is tracked inside this simulated environment, and payouts are based on your results within that framework. Please read our Risk Disclosure and Terms & Conditions for full details.

Evaluation fees are generally non-refundable once your account has been created, activated, or used to place trades. Exceptions, if any, will be outlined in our Terms & Conditions. Always review the terms before purchasing an evaluation.
